Promontory Point is again in danger: Save the Point Again!

We demand the City, Chicago Park District and US Army Corps of Engineers:

  • revive the 2006 Obama planning process

  • repair and preserve the historic limestone revetment

  • guarantee full community participation

CDOT, CPD, USACE: Don’t restart the clock! Let’s pick up right where we left off!

  • safe and generous access (ADA compliance) for all to both the revetment and the water

We advocate a feasible, functional preservation approach, not demolition and reconstruction
